Friday night at Watsonville, I was waiting for the varsity football game to start. A man walked by me, on to the Monterey Toreadores' sideline. I thought I recognized him, but wasn't sure. That's when somebody yelled out, 'Hey, it's Tony Dungy!'

And the winner is...
Pajaro Valley. The Grizzlies. The formerly 1-9 Monterey Bay League doormats.
They have the best record in the county, even though they've played some pretty bad opponenets. But that's not really what makes them so surprising; its the one loss.
