The Girls are Back in Town and Ready to Rumble

The Santa Cruz Rollergirls return home from an amazing victory last month over Reno’s Battle Born Derby Demons. The girls are getting set to face-off on their home track against the Sacred City Derby Girls on Saturday June 28th at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium.
This bout will mark the mid-point of SCRG’s inaugural and historic first season. The hometown heroines are ecstatic to be going against an established second-year league like Sacred City, hoping to continue their amazing record of 3 and 1. SCRG’s fanatical hometown fans are gearing up to witness an amazing display of athleticism and some good ol’ roller derby fun.
Tickets for SCRG’s bout, can be purchased online at www.santacruztickets.com, by phone at (831) 420-5260, or at the Civic Auditorium’s box office, located at 307 Church Street in downtown Santa Cruz. Advance-purchase, general admission tickets are priced at $20.50 (all bouts have sold-out prior to game-day).
There are NEW TICKET PRICES for kids:
Babies in arms free (under 2)
Kids under 13 - $7
Students under 18 - $12
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Bout starts at 6:30 p.m. Be a part of the action! Be a part of history! Support your local Rollergirls—Santa Cruz’s only all-female, full-contact sports league.
About Santa Cruz Rollergirls
The Santa Cruz Rollergirls, LLC is the first all-female, full-contact, flat-track derby league in Santa Cruz. The SCRG is a grassroots organization built by the hands of a small group of even-tempered, level-headed, intelligent women who had the dream to bring the sport and art of roller derby back to Santa Cruz. The mission of SCRG is to further the sport of women's flat-track roller derby, as well as further the personal growth and development of our fellow derby sisters
